Я недавно устроился в Ситилинк программистом, и, естественно, попал в один офис с ребятами-разработчиками, которые здесь уже работают, и оба давно.
Их зовут Рома и Шурик, и, мало кто об этом знает, но, похоже, что за весь богатый функционал карельских ресурсов отвечают всего 2 человека - они двое. До них закладывал базу и создавал первые скрипты чуть ли не сам Миха и, возможно, кто-то по контракту. Естественно, они не одни, ещё есть project-менеджер Димитрос, системные администраторы и многие-многие другие, но программирование - это их задача. Рома - Цезарь, он ещё и умеет профессионально верстать и держит у себя на столе чашку с надписью “Я - Лидер Web-разработки” (возможно, уже знаете об этом из его собственного поста на этом блоге). Шурик - мозг, суперкомпетентный разработчик, способный держать в голове и связывать все необходимые детали, именно к нему неустанно обращаются все, кому что-то нужно выяснить по ресурсам.
Представьте, если бы Ситилинк не занимался разработкой ресурсов, а лишь предоставлял бы Интернет и какой-нибудь сервер обмена файлами по сети? Очевидно, что локальные ресурсы - это гигантский актив компании, и его развитие идёт полным ходом. Сейчас активно развиваются ресурсы Труба, vip-форум и Сериалы. А также готовится запуск парочки совершенно новых ресурсов, пока ещё не запущенных! Ждите сюрпризов от компании Ситилинк :)Кстати, несмотря на то, что большинство в коллективе составляют парни, работают в Ситилинке и женщины. Об этом вряд ли упоминается где-нибудь на форуме и вообще вряд ли кто-нибудь задумывается (если только вы не решите лично явиться сюда, в тех. поддержку, и внимательно посмотреть в сторону основных помещений офиса :) ). У них тоже важные дела, и, когда я прохожу мимо, они всегда выглядят занятыми работой.Кстати, этот пост написан в редакторе Q10, о котором я узнал в блоге Китыча. Наверно, многие в курсе, что у сотрудника Ситилинка Китыча есть свой собственный блог, kitich.ru, который он ведёт уже очень-очень долгое время. Я довольно много сидел в нём и, в частности, обнаружил этот бесплатный (и весьма своеобразный :)) редактор Q10.
А ещё хотел бы отметить насчёт программистов тот факт, что они используют самые современные технологии (вроде jQuery, например, или Ajax, объектно-ориентированный PHP, всякие xmlrpc-запросы и вообще, чего тут только не услышишь!). Я сам чувствую, будто уже стал в два раза умнее с тех пор, как начал работать :)
Интересный факт, что Ситилинк - сам себе хостер, и в этом плане у них полная свобода. Миха начал с нуля, со стипендии, а потом - раз - и компания оторвалась от Земли и пошла в полёт. Купили серверы, сами всё настроили и связь провели. До сих пор я под огромным впечатлением от их достижений!
На самом деле наши системные администраторы тоже периодически успешно справляются с ролью программистов, а также есть программисты, работающие удаленно :)
